5th Session of 10th Council of PSC took place in Hangzhou

The fifth Session of the tenth Council of PSC was held in Hangzhou City on February 25, 2013. The members of the 10th council and other delegates attend this session. They are: honorary member of the council Mu Xinan and Wang Xiaofeng, director Yang Qun, vice-directors Zhou Zhonghe, Jiqiang, Tong Jinnan and Sun Ge, secretary-general Wang Yongdong, standing council members Wan Xiaqiao, Wang Xianddong, Bai Zhiqiang, Liu Jiarun, Chen Xiaohong, Yao Jianxin, Yuan Xunlai and Zeng Yong, council members Yin Chongyu, Wang Jun, Wang Chengwen, Wang Rujian, Wang Weiming, Wang Yufei, Deng Shenghui, Feng Weimin, Feng Qinglai, Lu Liwu, Ren Dong, Sun Chunlin, Wu Yasheng, Zhang Zhaoqun, Zhang Xingliang, Zhang Xiguang, Zhou Chuanming, Zheng Zhuo, Hong Tianqiu, Ji Shuan, Shi Guijun, Huang Qinghua, Peng Jin and Xie Shucheng, department director of national committee of fossil experts Wang Lixia, and director Yan Hongming and vice-director Jin Xingsheng of Zhejiang Museum of Natural History. Executive deputy secretary-general Cai Huawei, deputy secretary-general Zhang Yi and Xu Xiaoyin, and other workers attend a conference without voting rights.

The council heard and deliberated the annual report of PSC and the preparative work reports of the 27th annual conference of PSC and the 2013 Joint conference of PSC and Palaeontologische Gesellschaft. This session was supported by the Zhejiang Museum of Natural History (ZMNH).

All members visited the ZMNH and gave positive proposal on the construction plan of the new museum.
