12th National Congress of PSC was held, 12th Council and 1st Board of Supervisors elected

The 12^th National Congress of PSC and 29^th Academic Conference were successfully held in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province on September 17-19, 2018. The 12^th National Congress of PSC chaired by Vice President Yao Jianxin was held at the Yingbin Hotel of Yellow River Henan in the afternoon of September 18. Secretary-General Wang Yongdong made a report on the work of the 11^th Council. Cai Huawei, deputy Secretary-General and the leader of the 12^th Council's election working group, gave a work report on the changing preparation of the term of the Council. Deputy Secretary Zhang Yi made a revision report on Draft Revision of PSC Charter and Draft Revision of PSC Membership Fee Standard. Accountant Wang Qin did a financial work report.

Draft Revision of PSC Charter and Draft Revision of PSC Membership Fee Standard were passed by secret ballot. According to the change of the term scheme, the 12^th Council of PSC and the 1^st Board of Supervisors were elected. The 12^th Council consists of 71 members from 48 organizations across the country. Yang Qun, the leader of the change of the term steering group, President of the 11^th Council, presented 71 newly-elected Council members with the certificates of the 12^th Council respectively. Zhu Huaicheng, Secretary of PSC CCP Committee, presented 9 newly-elected Supervisors with the certificates of the 1^st Board of Supervisors respectively.
