The 2nd Joint International Conference of PG and PSC will take place in Yichang, China, 2017

After a prudent discussion, the PSC and the Paläontologische Gesellschaft of Germany (PG, which stands for Palaeontological Society in German) has reached a consensus that the 2^nd Joint International Conference of PG and PSC is going to be held in Yichang, Hubei, China, from Octoberf 10^th – 13^th, 2017.

According to the decision of the 4^th Session of the 11^th PSC Council, the theme of the conference will be “Critical Intervals in Earth History – Palaeobiological Innovations”. There will be 6 excursions, pre-conference excursions and post-conference excursions included. An abstract volume and a fieldwork guide book will be published before the conference. The PSC Council also discussed over the very details of the conference organization (the host organizations, the academic sessions, the invited reports, the keynote reports, et cetera) and the conference affairs (in-venue affairs, registration fee, conference notice, et cetera). The First Circular of the Joint Conference will be delivered in early January, 2017.
