CAST Construction Work Conference for CPC and CYL to Arrange the the "Two General Layouts"

The China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) Opened Up the Construction Work Conference for the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the China Youth League (CYL) to arrange the “Two General Layouts” on Sep 28^th, 2016. The theme of the conference is to “strengthen the CPC and CYL’s construction so as to realize the ‘Two General Layouts’ Policy”. The conference called the people to grab the key point of President XI Jinping’s speech by which the construction work of the CPC and the social organizations were strongly encouraged. The conference also released “The CAST’s Opinions on How to Enhance the CPC’s Construction Work in the Associations for Science and Technology”, the document showed the general layout plan on how to enhance the CPC’s Construction in the CAST.

On behalf of the Superior Departments of the Party, SHANG Yong, the Secretary of the Party Committee in the CAST, DUAN Yuying, the Minister of the Organization Department, and XIE Yufeng, the Deputy Inspector of the Second Bureau of the Central Organization Department, CPC addressed in the conference.

According to a unified deployment of the Work Committee of the Departments under the Central Committee of the CPC, all the branches of the CAST will realize the General Layout on its CPC organizations and work before June, 2017. The newly established CPC Committee of the Science and Technology Organizations will serve as a department especially in charge of the detailed issues of the CPC construction work, guaranteeing the accomplishment of the “Two General Layouts” task. More than 300 leaders from all the branches of the CAST participated in the conference.
